INTERNET TO BECOME COSTLIER FOR MOBILE USERS

Webdesk, TNI Mumbai, 31st August, 2015: Internet became costlier for some telecom operators in India like Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular. According to reports, the internet charges have been hiked for postpaid customers by 20 percent in various circles, including New Delhi. The tariff posted on the companies’ websites of Airtel a raise in data tariffs in Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, and UP West circles. The data tariff raise is also been hiked by Idea Cellular has done in Delhi, Punjab, and UP West. The postpaid customers of both operators in the designated circles will now have to pay Rs. 300 for 1GB 3G data usage, as against Rs. 250 earlier. The last hike was in June this year.
